TASAKI
HISTORYintroduction
TASAKI's founder, Shunsaku Tasaki, always carried five pearls with him. As a child, his father Jinsaku, who operated a pearl farm, taught him the art of beach-fishing for pearls. These five Akoya pearls were the first he ever harvested by hand. The story of Shunsaku, who later pioneered significant developments in the pearl industry, began with these five pearls he kept in his pocket.
From 'TASAKI Pearl'
to 'TASAKI'In 1997, we relocated our main Ginza store to its current position on Chuo-dori. In 2009, TASAKI Pearl appointed an overseas fashion designer as creative director, marking its reinvention as TASAKI.
TASAKI's 70th Anniversary
Please look forward to TASAKI's anniversary year as we continue to evolve with timeless elegance and bolder innovation into a new era.
